Bring life to any scene with this energy-saving (LED-13MM-AM-150) amber LED rope light. Only 1/2 inch in diameter, it's a perfect fit for ledges, eaves, banisters, and more. Because the rope is made of clear, heat resistant PVC tubing with brilliant amber LEDs inside, it virtually disappears from plain view when turned off. Use the molded plug (included) to power the entire spool, or cut the rope into shorter sections for creative applications (cutting this rope light voids UL listing). Because of a newly developed UV inhibitor, you can even install this product outdoors without worry.

Installation
Continuous flexing of rope light may damage its internal electrical connections. To avoid premature failure, mount rope light to sturdy surfaces such as wood or glass and reinforce it with a channel raceway or reflector trim of the correct diameter.
If you must install rope light on an unstable or moving surface such as trees or bushes, it is most cost-effective to use incandescent rope light, which can be replaced at a lower cost than LED rope light.
Movement of frozen rope lights may also damage electrical connections. Avoid installing or re-spooling rope light when temperatures are below freezing. The PVC tubing can become brittle in temperatures below 50 deg. F.
Please note that cutting this rope light, even following manufacturer instructions, will void the UL listing of the product. This, however, does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe.
If UL listing is an important concern for you or your organization either use the full length of the spool without cutting it or consider purchasing our shorter rope light "kits".
