75 Watt equal LED PAR30 short neck bulbs use just a fraction of the energy of similar halogen bulbs to deliver the same output, helping lower energy costs. Measuring 3.75 inches in diameter and producing a 36 to 45-degree beam angle light, these directional flood bulbs are commonly used in recessed cans lights, track lighting, and spotlight fixtures. These short neck bulbs also have a high color rendering index (CRI) of 90 or higher that makes colors appear brighter and more accurate. High CRI bulbs are best for applications where color accuracy is important, such as lighting paintings in art galleries or displaying pieces in museums. These LED PAR30 bulbs also produce less heat than their halogen counterparts, making them ideal for heat-sensitive displays.
High CRI LED PAR30 bulbs are available in a variety of color temperatures. Measured in Kelvin, color temperature describes the color of the light produced by the bulb. 2700 Kelvin produces a warm light similar to that of incandescent bulbs, while 3000 Kelvin is a close match to halogens. More blue in appearance, 4000 Kelvin helps reduce eye strain. 5000 Kelvin is similar to daylight and helps improve visibility.
