LED Strip Light Channels from PLT

Sold exclusively at 1000Bubls, PLT aluminum profiles are designed to be used with LED strip lights to create custom light fixtures. These fixtures not only provide illumination in a variety of applications, but also protect the LED strips from accidental bumps and dust.

Unlike Klus extrusions, these channels come with a lens. All other necessary components and strip lights are sold separately. PLT channels and accessories are not interchangeable and cannot be used with similar products from other manufacturers.

The PLT strip light channel and lens can quickly be cut to length using a fine-tooth saw or other similar tool. Once the LED strip light is attached to the channel, the lens and end caps can be installed. PLT end caps come in sets of two. One end cap is solid, while the other has a hole to allow for wiring. Mounting brackets and clips will vary from depending on the aluminum channel selected.

Types of PLT Strip Light Channels

PLT aluminum profiles are broken down into types, or families, depending on how the channel is installed:

  • Surface Mount - these channels attach to surfaces using assorted mounting clips. They are available in black or anodized finishes, and can be used for shelves, staircases, coves, and other similar LED strip light installations.

  • Corner Mounting - these black and anodized aluminum profiles are designed to sit flush into corners for a seamless look. They are perfect for illuminating cabinets, shelving, stairs, and more.

  • Recess Mount - these channels come in a variety of sizes and finishes and embed into flat surfaces using a spring clip. These extrusions also have linking brackets that allow you to connect multiple channels end-to-end. Install them in coves, under cabinets, staircases, and more.

  • Pendant/Surface Mount - these channels can mount either to surfaces or suspend as pendants depending on which mounting brackets you choose. Use these channel profiles in offices, retail stores, display cases, and other similar applications.

  • Mud-In - these aluminum profiles recess mount and have flanges that allow you to mud them in for a completely seamless look. No mounting brackets are needed. These channels are perfect for walls and ceilings.

Can PLT channels and accessories be mix and matched with similar products from other brands?

  • No. PLT channels and accessories are not compatible with similar products from other manufacturers and brands.

Do PLT aluminum profiles come with all the accessories needed for installation, or is it all sold separately?

  • PLT mounting channels only come a lens. All other accessories, such as end caps and brackets, are sold separately.

Can PLT channels and accessories be used with any LED strip light?

  • PLT channels can be paired with any LED strip light as long as it will fit in the channel. Make sure to compare the dimensions of the strip light to the channel dimensions to ensure the strip will fit.

Can PLT channels and lenses be cut to length?

  • Yes, the channels and lenses can be cut to any desired length using a fine-tooth saw.
